New China Life targets US$1b in HK share offer

NEW China Life Insurance, the mainland's fourth-largest insurance company, plans to raise up to US$1 billion in an initial public offering in Hong Kong next year despite a shareholder revolt that led to the removal of its chairman, the South China Morning Post reported citing market sources.
