Watson, Symonds fail to impress at WACA

Test aspirants Shane Watson and Andrew Symonds failed to boost their chances of selection for the opening match of the Ashes series, despite Queensland assuming a strong position at stumps on day two of their first-class match against Western Australia at the WACA ground in Perth on Monday.
