Halutz denies plans to resign if found responsible for Lebanon debacle

The Israeli military's chief of staff denied reports Wednesday that he is likely to resign if investigations prove he was responsible for the failure of the summer war on Lebanon. Israeli media reports late Tuesday had said that if one of the two inhouse committees investigating the Lebanon war concludes that lieutenant General Dan Halutz is responsible.
