General Motors cuts down on Q3 losses

General Motors Corp. reported an improved results for the third quarter of fiscal 2006, with losses declining to $115 million from $1.7 billion in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The results indicate that the company's turnaround plan is taking effect.
