Zim turns attention to Internet protocol television Partnership offers access to China

Zim Corp. of Ottawa has shifted its focus from short messaging services to television, but is still concentrating on the mobile market, chief executive officer Michael Cowpland said yesterday.Zim's new product, called ZimTV, will be Internet protocol television, or IPTV, to be distributed among users via peer-to-peer networking, Mr. Cowpland said. The service will be available for both desktop PCs (ZimTV.biz) and mobile devices (ZimTV.mobi) running on Microsoft's Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system.
