Urlacher plays with special shoe

Bears LB Brian Urlacher, who missed two days of practice with a sprained big toe hurt in Week 9 against Miami, was able to play against the Giants. The Bears designed a special orthopedic shoe for Urlacher and covered it in "goo" to further protect his foot. He said he was close to 100 percent, and pain was not a factor. "I didn't really feel it," Urlacher said. "At the beginning I was a little worried--not worried, but it was in the back of my mind. It feels good, and I was able to run around and do some things." Urlacher made eight tackles against a Giants team focused on running the ball with the NFL's leading rusher, Tiki Barber. Barber picked up 141 yards on 19 carries, and the Giants gained 150 overall.
