BlackBerry Pearl now up on T-Mobile site

Filed under: T-Mobile, Promotions, Pearl 8100 The BlackBerry Pearl is now listed on the T-Mobile site. While you can't actually place your order just yet, you can get your place in line. You do so by clicking the Get It First!! prompt. This gets you to a page where you fill out your basic order information. But there's something interesting with the art on that page. Does this look like a promotional display aimed at that businessperson who wants a consumer-features BlackBerry for his or her personal time? No, far from it. These look like consumers, if I ever saw them. So maybe RIM is really marketing the Pearl to a new group of consumer users, but can't quite come out and say they are for fear of losing their reputation as a maker of business devices? Actually, by virtue of the "Are you considering the BlackBerry Pearl for your business?" question below on this screen grab, it sounds like they are trying to find out.
