Eddie Bauer to be bought for $286m

Eddie Bauer Holdings Inc., the outdoor-clothing retailer founded in 1920, agreed to be acquired yesterday by two buyout firms for $286 million, or about one-third of its share price when it exited bankruptcy last year.
