The Evolution of Wikis Into Books

Here's an interesting project to watch unfold. Pearson Education is working with profs at Wharton and MIT's Sloan school on pulling together a management book using a wiki. They say they plan to ask more than a million business and academic types to contribute as authors and editors. It makes sense that as one of the first books to be done like this, they plan to focus on collecting best practices at corporations who are using community, social networks and other Web 2.0 tools. The book is entitled We Are Smarter Than Me and will come out next fall.
