Ruiz sues Toney over steroid use
2nd Nov 2005, 03:50 GMT
Heavyweight boxer John Ruiz has filed a lawsuit against James Toney, who beat him in April for the heavyweight title but was then stripped of the crown for testing positive for steroids. Lawyers for Ruiz said the suit alleges that their client was damaged financially despite the fact the WBA restored him as champion after Toney's post-fight test came up positive for Nandrolone.
