Most cancer patients don't understand their diagnosis

A new report from CancerBACUP has revealed that every two minutes a person in the UK gets told they have cancer yet nearly two thirds of them don't fully understand what their diagnosis means, according to research out today. Peter Cardy, Chief Executive of leading cancer care charity Macmillan Cancer Relief, said 'Patients tell us that receiving a cancer diagnosis is frightening, and they may not fully understand or take in everything they are told by the doctor... click link for more info.
