Hawk improving with Packers
14th Nov 2006, 13:14 GMT
The Packers defense has notched 31 sacks on the season and is seeing improved play from their linebackers, who have the speed and know-how to get to the quarterback. One improved player is rookie A.J. Hawk, who has 4.0 sacks on the year to lead all linebackers (Aaron Kampman, a DE, has 9.5 sacks). "He's getting a feel on where to go and how to get there," defensive coordinator Bob Sanders said, referring to Hawk, in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "He has strength, speed and quickness."
