This Is Why We Dive

Filed under: Dive Sites, Photography, Wreck, Caribbean, This Is Why We Dive Veteran's Day was this weekend. In honor of that holiday, I thought this image by KeyLargo_Diver was appropriate for today's This Is Why We Dive. Shot on the Spiegel Grove, I love how the coral has encrusted the flagpole, and yet the flag is still "waving" in the current. Although it appears there's a litte tear in the flag, I think it's so cool that -- with all the Spiegel Grove has been through -- the stars and stripes are still waving. Cool shot. I've never seen a photo of a flag underwater before. If you have such an image, add it to Divester's Flickr group and share it with us! Read | Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
