PETERSBURG, FL (MARKET WIRE) AAO Annual Meeting -- Lenstec, Inc. -- a provider of technologically advanced lens implants and devices used in cataract and refractive surgery -- today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted the company an Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) to begin a clinical trial of the Softec HD Posterior Chamber Intraocular Lens (IOL).
