Isis Says New Drug Effective Against Cholesterol

Isis Pharmaceuticals has said its new drug ISIS 301012 has proven effective at lowering cholesterol in two phase II clinical trials. In the first study reported, patients with high cholesterol on stable doses of statins were treated with ISIS 301012 for five weeks.
