Duval's steady kicking best job security

Damon Duval probably didn't need to marry the boss's daughter to keep his job as placekicker and punter for the Montreal Alouettes. The 26-year-old is one of the CFL's best and doesn't expect or ask for favours just because he married team president Larry Smith's daughter Ashley in the spring. "Everybody asked about it, especially at the beginning of the season when I got married," Duval said this week. "They said `Ah, you're good now.'"
