Media experts look at how coverage varies by region

An annual conference on media and contemporary history began Wednesday at the Orient Institute of Beirut, with media scholars from seven Arab and European countries convening for three days of lectures and panels. The conference, this year entitled "Public Opinion and the Media Between Europe and the Middle East.
