Pfizer Statement on Lasofoxifene

Pfizer Inc said today it hasreceived a non-approvable letter from the U.S. Food and Drug Administrationregarding lasofoxifene (Oporia), a selective estrogen receptor modulator forthe prevention of osteoporosis. Pfizer said that it will be reviewing its submission with the FDA andconsidering various possible courses of action.
