Mercury, BU team says biotech app cuts processing time to minutes

Mercury Computer Systems Inc. and Boston University, which have teamed up to develop biotech applications for the Cell Broadband Engine processor, reported preliminary results of the program, which cuts processing time from weeks to minutes.
