$1 billion UT fund-raising drive imminent

(Knoxville News Sentinel) University of Tennessee President John Petersen said Friday that UT is getting ready to launch a major fund-raiser that may involve at least 10 figures. Though still being fine-tuned, the plan, Petersen told the trustees, focuses UT's efforts on six main areas. Those range from student access to UT and success after they arrive to enhancing research and UT's role in the state's economic development. ...10/29 [Registration Required]
