Raising awareness about cancer

Linda Sherwood describes herself on her blog as a mommy who is raising awareness about cancer. Specifically breast cancer. Linda's mother is a breast cancer survivor; she felt a lump in her breast for four years before she was properly diagnosed. Doctors had told her it was calcium deposits. How does that happen without a biopsy??? This is a great post describing the day, more than a year ago, when her mother was diagnosed; her family's reaction; her mother's surgery (to removed only a few lymph nodes instead of all of them, then a new strategy).
