Departed after several seasons and turned up on Made In Canada, a scathing sitcom-style comedy set in the Canadian TV industry. Launched the well-received Rick Mercer's Monday Report in January, 2004, which evolved into The Rick Mercer Report for this current TV season.

Married Maureen Grise, a photo editor at Sports Illustrated, in July, 2004.
